Overview
Dr. B. K. M. Reddy is a highly esteemed professional in his field and has a career spanning over 30 years. Dr. Reddy has imparted his knowledge to thousands of undergraduate, postgraduate, MD, and DM students. Additionally, he has provided training to numerous surgical residents and has served as a mentor to medical college students.
Alongside his medical career, Dr. Reddy boasts an extensive list of administrative credentials. He has held the position of head of the Department of Radiation Oncology in various hospitals. He also had the distinction of being Chairman and a Member of various hospital sub-committees. Dr. Reddy has authored numerous publications in esteemed national and international medical journals.

- Framed and recommended the M.D. Radiotherapy Syllabus to RGUHS in 1999.
- Served as a member in organizing committees for various National Conferences.
- Prepared and submitted the new syllabus for B.Sc. Radiotherapy Technologists to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore in 2005.
- Held the position of President at AROI Karnataka Chapter from 2003 to 2006.
- Honored by Kuvempu Vedike, KMIO, for the services rendered at KMIO (1981 to Jan 07) on 25th November 2006.
- Contributed as a member of the ICMR Subcommittee for forming guidelines for stomach cancer in 2007.
- Became a member of the Board of Studies in Paramedical Subjects of RGUHS in January 2007.

Open-label randomized, multi-center study to assess the safety and efficacy of h-R3 as an adjuvant in conjunction with concurrent chemotherapy and radiotherapy, or radiotherapy alone, in patients with advanced (Stage III or IVA) histologically documented Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head & Neck (2004-2007).
As a Co- Investigator
- An open-label, multi-center randomized study to evaluate the effect of EPO-BP on Hb levels in patients with advanced cervical cancer undergoing radiotherapy (2003–2005).
- A multi-center Phase II clinical and pharmacological study of DRF 1042, a novel camptothecin analog administered orally to adult patients with refractory solid tumors (2003–2005).
- Study of genome-wide differential gene expression in Candida Albicans under pathological conditions using microarray techniques (2003–2004).
- A randomized, single-blinded, placebo-controlled, multi-center Phase II study of Lapatinib in patients with locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (2006).
