Recent Advances in Neurosurgery

Dr. Ahmed’s MBBS qualification from Silchar Medical College (Silchar) is backed by an MS (Surgery) degree from Assam Medical College (Dibrugarh) and MCh (Neurosurgery) from AIIMS (New Delhi).He has received training in Neuronavigation-guided Surgery, Neuro-Endoscopy, Paediatric Neurosurgery, Neuro Oncology, Cerebro-Vascular and Stroke Surgery, and Complex Spinal Surgery with instrumentation. He is exposed to emergency and elective care in neurosurgical patients, advanced neurosurgical surgeries including Brain Suit and Neuroendoscopy, Trauma services (Resuscitation, BLS, Central Venous Catheterisation) and ICU management. Besides serving residency at premiere institutes, Dr. Ahmed was also professionally has served at Guwahati Medical College as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery, and Assam Medical College as Associate Professor of Neurosurgery.
