Speaker 2: Dr. Karthik Chandra Vallam Dr Karthik Chandra Vallam specialises in open, laparoscopic and robotic cancer surgeries. He is a pioneer in Minimal access cancer surgery in the region of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and has performed over 150 minimal access cancer surgeries (including 80 robotic surgeries). He is also specialised in the management of extensive peritoneal cancers and has performed Cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC (Hyperthermic intra-peritoneal chemotherapy). Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery is a key area of interest. His niche areas of expertise include gastrointestinal cancers, breast conservation and oncoplastic surgeries, thoracic cancers, urological cancers, gynaecological cancers and oral cancers.
