symptoms mainly include neck muscle spasm, strain, neck tenderness, and even neck stiffness. In the case of severe neck pain, the symptoms associated include leg and arm weakness, leg and arm numbness, loss of bowel movements, loss of bladder control and inability to move the neck. Some of the additional symptoms include skin redness, nausea, headache, fever, swollen glands, difficulty in swallowing, swelling in the neck, and so on. At times, neck pain is also accompanied by lower and upper back pain.
