Dr. Shameem Ahmed is a consultant Neurosurgeon from Assam associated with diagnosis, assessment and surgery for the treatment of disorders of the nervous system. Dr. Ahmed currently holds the post of Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon & HOD of Neurosciences at Apollo Hospitals (International Hospital Unit) in Guwahati. Dr. Ahmed’s MBBS qualified from Silchar Medical College (Silchar) is backed by an MS (Surgery) degree from Assam Medical College (Dibrugarh) and MCh (Neurosurgery) from AIIMS (New Delhi). Furthermore, he has received training in Neuronavigation-guided Surgery, Neuro-Endoscopy, Paediatric Neurosurgery, Neuro Oncology, Cerebro-Vascular and Stroke Surgery, and Complex Spinal Surgery with instrumentation.
